Motorcyclist Killed In NYE Crash In Margate

MARGATE (CBSMiami) -- Police are investigating the fatal crash that killed the driver of a motorcycle Thursday night in Margate.
It happened at about 10:30 p.m. at the intersection of South State Road 7 and S.W. 4th Street.
Police said a 2009 Kawasaki motorcycle was going south on South SR 7 when it collided with a 2003 Ford Expedition.
The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene by Margate Fire Rescue. The driver's identity has not been released as authorities attempt to contact the next of kin.
