Cyclist, Patrol Car Collide In Miami Gardens

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- A cyclist is in the hospital Wednesday after colliding with a Miami-Dade Police patrol car.
Police said the officer was driving East on 199th Street and had a green light.
That's when the cyclist, heading South on NW 52nd Avenue, crossed in front of the officer, police said.
Rescue crews airlifted the cyclist to a nearby hospital. The officer was not injured in the crash.
Chopper 4 was over the scene where a number of police patrol cars were stopped near the scene. A pink bicycle could be seen on the street.
