Suspected Gunman In Custody After McDonald's Shooting

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- The suspected gunman who opened fire inside of a McDonald's in Northwest Miami-Dade has been taken into police custody.

It happened Saturday afternoon on 80th Street and N.W. 27th Avenue.

One man was shot and taken to the hospital.

Officials said two men got into an argument and as they were walking outside of the restaurant, one pulled out a gun and shot the other in the arm.

The owner of the restaurant released a statement:

"Our first priority is always the safety of our customers and employees. As this is an active police investigation, we ask that you contact the Miami-Dade County Police Department for additional details."

The investigation is ongoing.
