Man Charged In Hialeah ATM Theft

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Authorities arrested a man accused of taking hundreds of dollars from an ATM using another person's account.

Hialeah Police said a man was at an ATM in Hialeah when he walked inside the bank thinking the machine was not working.

That's when, police say,the man that was behind him finished the transaction on the ATM and took hundreds of dollars using the man's account.

Officers said the victim later ran into the man and called police. The man was later taken into custody and charged with theft.

Authorities have not released the identity of the man taken into custody.
