MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Miami-Dade Police are looking for a man who tried to abduct a 13-year-old boy.

Investigators said the boy was at his home Saturday near S.W. 156th Avenue and S.W. 39th Street when the suspect walked by and tried grabbing to him.

"I was working out in the garage and a suspicious man came up to me and he told me to come here. And I told him 'no' directly and then he grabbed my wrist. I yanked away and I immediately went for a bat and I charged at him and he went running away," said the teen.

The suspect is a latin man in his 40's or 50's about 6 feet tall, with salt and pepper hair and a beard.

He was seen wearing a black, sleeveless hoodie and black basketball shorts.

The victim also said the man had a missing front tooth and walked with a limp.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the authorities.
