MEDLEY (CBSMiami) – A Medley mother is asking for the public's help in locating her 22-year-old son who's been missing nearly a week.

According to Medley Police, Jonnattan Darious Rosa was last seen at the Palmetto Metrorail Station Wednesday around 4:00 p.m. after he was dropped off by one of his co-workers.  He hasn't been seen or heard from ever since.

"We definitely think he could be in danger because this is not normal in him," said Jessica Osorio, Rosa's mother.

"Our detectives are working endless hours in an attempt to locate this individual," said Medley Police Department Det. Louis Ponce. "Ever since his disappearance on Wednesday, his cell phone has been off and there's been no contact with him."

"We're desperate looking for him. There's no clues since that day. His cell phone is off. He's not posting anything on Facebook. Nobody has seen him. We're desperate," said Osorio.

Police handed out flyers in the area in hopes of generating leads.

Rosa is 5-foot-8, weighs about 130 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.

If you've seen him, contact Medley Police at (305) 883-2047.
