Angels Hit The Runway For Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

NEW YORK (CBSMiami) – Some of the biggest names in the modeling industry took the runway Tuesday night for the highly anticipated Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.

It's an iconic kick off to the holiday season with an over the top celebration of all things sexy. Swarovski crystal embellished lingerie, the iconic angel wings and the $2 million dollar Fireworks Fantasy Bra worn this year by Lily Aldridge.

"It's beautifully made by Mouawad and it's my first time wearing it, I'm so thrilled and excited," she said.

Before these angels graced the runway, backstage they spent hours preparing for the show.

"So much hair and makeup and body makeup and glitter and everything that you think it's going on, is happening right now," said modal Behati Prinsloo.

New angels this year were Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid who were walking this show for the first time.

"It's honestly so insane to go from viewing parties with your friends in ninth grade and practicing the runways during commercial breaks, to actually be in this room," said Hadid.

The show had a mix of first timers to the veterans like Adriana Lima – her 16th show as a Victoria's Secret Angel.

"I still feel very nervous, because Victoria's Secret Fashion Show every year it has become a global phenomenon," said Lima.

The show has become a global phenomenon which has also become a highly coveted ticket for those lucky enough to attend, and walk the Pink Carpet.

"Obviously coming off a long season, so for me being in New York what other better event to come to than the show," said Mets' pitcher Matt Harvey.

"You have the prom, you have your wedding and then you have Victoria's Secret Fashion Show," said Vanessa Ray who stars in Blue Bloods.

The show will air Tuesday, Dec. 8, at 10 p.m. Eastern on CBS.
