Two Taken To Hospital After Cop Car Crash

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- A Miami Police officer and a woman ended up in the hospital following a crash involving two police cruisers in Miami.
Miami Police said it all started when a woman was threatening to jump from the roof of a house.
When police arrived, they tried to convince the woman not to jump but she ended up jumping.
That's when, police said, she jumped into an officer's squad car and sped off.
At that point, a second officer, responding to the scene, ended up in a head on collision with the stolen cop car near northwest 7th Street and 29th Avenue.
The woman tried to run away from the crash but an officer was able to take her into custody.
Chopper4 was over the scene of the crash. Two Miami Police cruisers could be seen with front end damage.
The officer involved in the crash will be okay. The woman's condition is unknown.
