MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- It's the social media craze you either love or love to hate -- the selfie!

And if there's a buck to be made, you know it won't be long before the entrepreneurial spirit kicks in with innovation like the selfie stick or the global phenomenon's latest trend... a "selfie wall."

Eric Helms, the CEO of Juice Generation, put one up in his New York juice shop where customers can snap a photo and tag their location inside the store. Helms has a monitor built into the wall, allowing anyone to walk up, push a button and say cheese.

"People want to tell their friends they are doing something healthy for themselves, especially today," said Helms. "If you didn't document it, it didn't happen."

Plenty of other New York businesses are incorporating the quick pic opportunity in their stores like manicure studio Paintbox, whose clients can get a "photo box" picture of their nails.

This modernized photo booth gives businesses a new way to get the word out without the need for advertising costs.

"It's changed everything because customers have louder voices and can reach more people. The way you market and get to people now happens in a social-first environment," said Gary Vaynerchuk, a social media expert.

And with many companies rewarding customers with discounts and free stuff for taking their photos inside their store, the tool has become a win-win for everyone.

"I think we live in a world where people want to share what they do after every move," said selfie-snapper Elizabeth Cassia.

Now more and more businesses are joining in on the fun and giving their more self-absorbed clients a way to do just that.
