Al Golden: 'We Haven't Played a Division Game Yet'
The Miami Hurricanes lost a heartbreaker in Tallahassee on Friday night, with Al Golden having yet to beat Miami's biggest rival.
"We've got a lot of football left. " Golden said on the Joe Rose Show. "We haven't played a division game yet so this is our first one and obviously against a team that I guess we're 50-50 with them in the ACC so we've got to be ready to go."
Down an ACC game, is the pressure mounting to win coastal?
"I don't feel pressure because, again, I just focus on my job, focus on the team," Golden said. "I love coaching this team. They come to work everyday. There's no distractions. They're really selfless and it's a great group to come to work with everyday. Just find solutions.
"This team is doing a lot of things well. They just need that one moment where they can capture that, bottle it, get it in our locker room, and keep it for a long time. But if you don't establish a process and if don't establish a program and you don't establish certain values, when it turns, you want it to turn for a long time and that's what we're trying to teach these guys."
