We discuss Sickle Cell Disease, also known as sickle cell anemia which is a hereditary blood disorder.

It affects nearly 100-thousand people in the US, most commonly African-Americans.

The non-profit group – Advancing Sickle Cell Advocacy Project is on a mission to spread awareness of this debilitating disease and to dispel the myths associated with it.
