MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Three people are recovering in the hospital after they were shot while sitting outside a Miami home on Sunday.

The sound of rapid gunfire could be heard for blocks. Miami Police rushed to 1441 NW 68th Street late Sunday night and found the three people bleeding on the ground.

"I didnt hear anyone screaming, nothing, it was 'dooo-dooo-dooo-doooo'. It was over just that quick and police came around the corner," said one neighbor.

Two women and one man were injured in the shooting.  They were taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Their families identify the shooting victims as Brandy Hicks, Krissy Nance and Dalquan Picket.

"They were sitting in front of the house, chilling, having fun. That's what we always do," said a family member who did not want to be identified.

She said both had surgery and are in stable condition but she's worried about her cousin Dalquan Pickett who was shot in the stomach and hasn't opened his eyes.

"There's no reason they should be shooting them. I'm sure they did nothing," said the family member.

Miami Police have released little on the shooting. As of Monday, the motive and suspects in the shooting are unknown.

Anyone with information in the case is urged to call Miami-Dade CrimeStoppers at (305) 471- TIPS.
