No Bond For Hollywood Man Accused In Son's Murder
HOLLYWOOD (CBSMiami/AP) — A Hollywood man accused of killing his son over the weekend is being held without bond.
Reynaldo Reyes Sr., 53, is charged with second degree murder for the shooting death of his son Reynaldo Reyes Jr.
According to an arrest report, the younger man's girlfriend Emily Robinson told police she didn't understand what they were arguing about Saturday because they were speaking Spanish. The father armed himself with a gun as his wife tried to separate the pair.
The younger man said, "you're really going to shoot me?"
The father told police the shooting was accidental. He said he was angry that his son was intoxicated and was being disrespectful to his girlfriend.
