Shooting Call Leads Pembroke Pines Police To Dead Woman

FT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) - Crime scene tape was up at a Pembroke Pines apartment building Thursday morning as police investigated the death of a woman.
Around 5:30 a.m., police received a call about a shooting in progress at 12136 SW 11th Court. When officers arrived they found the body of an adult woman who appeared to have died from gunshot wounds.
Chopper 4 over the scene spotted a broken window on the second floor of a unit but it is not clear if it related to the shooting.
Police interviewed several people who reportedly inside the apartment at the time of the shooting. They've identified the woman who died as 27-year old Cynthia Dorvil.
