In just about a week, hundreds of thousands of students across South Florida will say goodbye to summer and hello to the first day of school!
Back to school is the "focus" this week.
First up, a unique program founded by 4 high school students and longtime friends looking to make a difference one child at a time.
Fort Lauderdale-based "Peer Tutors" provides free, quality assistance to elementary or middle school students who are in need of tutoring.
Peer tutors began in 2014-- and has proven so popular, they need more high school volunteers!
