MIAMI (CBSMiami/AP) — If you live in Broward and have travel to Miami-Dade for work you know the commute can be brutal.

New figures released by the U.S. Census Bureau show that more than 126,000 Broward County residents commuted to Miami-Dade County for work in 2013.

That was the highest trafficked route between counties in Florida.

Of those commuters, about 10 percent carpooled and 2.5 percent used public transportation.

The next busiest flow in Florida was in the Orlando area. Almost 80,000 Seminole County residents commuted to Orange County. Of those commuters, 7.5 percent carpooled and about a half percent used public transportation.
