Father Of Baby Found Dead Headed To Trial

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The father of a baby boy whose remains were found buried in a Hallandale Beach backyard is headed to trial.
Calvin Melvin was in court Monday morning and was found competent to stand trial.
The judge said a jury will be picked Wednesday.
The baby's remains were found in January 2013, 18 months after he disappeared.
Charges against the baby's mother were dropped.
