LIGHTHOUSE POINT (CBSMiami) – The allegations against land developer Louis Bianculli read like a horror movie script.

Inside his 10,000 square-foot Lighthouse Point mansion, police say he used chloroform or sleeping pills to knock out an underage girl over a span of five years, groped her, performed surgeries on her with syringes to make her skinnier or put objects inside her private parts.

Investigators say Bianculli duct taped her to a table to restrain her, cut her with knifes and even asphyxiated her to see how long she could survive.

According to a search warrant obtained by CBS4 News, Bianculli is accused of telling the victim's mother in a recorded conversation, "The fact that the (victim) was naked in my presence was wrong completely. The fact that I touched her in any capacity was totally wrong….Everything I did was wrong."

The search warrant also reveals that "Since arrest, several leads were generated leading to multiple victims of this extreme sadomasochistic behavior, and sexual conduct by Louis Bianculli over the course of many years prior to 2005, some of whom are believed to be minors at the time of their occurrence."

One victim told police she was 16 when Bianculli started abusing her for a decade and that "…the use of chloroform continued for nearly every sexual encounter." The victim said "…Bianculli utilized restraints…" and "…he videotaped her while she was naked and believes the video was taken while Bianculli engaged in sexual acts with her."

The warrant says police recovered more than 100 videotapes from Bianculli's home and that "…this box of VHS tapes may contain recordings of Louis Bianculli engaging in extreme sexual conduct, sadomasochistic activity or other lewd and lascivious behavior with minors and/or adults."

Herbert Cohen is Bianculli's defense attorney.

He says the victim's mother knew about the abuse for more than year before going to Lighthouse Point police this past May.

"Her mother was informed of these in Feb 2014 and did nothing for 15 or 16 months," Cohen said.

Cohen says the victim's mother might have been after some of Bianculli's millions. Court records show that Bianculli has a net worth of $29 million. Cohen alleges that the victim does not remember the abuse and had to be coaxed into remembering what occurred. Cohen says in a case like this one he believes there would be more evidence of abuse.

"If there's an allegation of knife used, knife cuts, syringes and injections why wasn't she taken to a doctor?" he wondered. "Why weren't these photographed? Why wasn't she examined? Why wasn't she taken to the sexual assault treatment center?"

As for those VHS tapes, Bianculli's lawyer says his client has a movie theater in his home and suspects there are movies on those tapes.

These criminal charges that have Bianculli locked up without bond are not the only legal trouble he faces. The victim in this case recently filed a civil lawsuit against him. The victim alleges trauma at Bianculli's hands and, according to one of the court documents we obtained, told a therapist of Bianculli, "He's the devil and I'm in Hell.'"
