MIAMI (CBSMiami) – No time for grocery shopping? Shipt, an app, says it will begin delivering groceries from Publix by August 18.

Shipt, which according to its site offers on-demand grocery delivery, said members, for a fee, will be able to shop, pay and schedule delivery in as soon as an hour.  All Publix items will be available on the app, Shipt's site says.

According to the Sun Sentinel, Publix said it is not affiliated with Shipt. Also, since they are not working together, Publix doesn't have control over pricing, fees and other offerings.

"We are aware of Shipt using our name in their advertisements," Publix spokeswoman Nicole Krauss told the paper via email. "However, without an established partnership, any use of the Publix name is without our consent. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused."

The service will be available from Homestead to West Palm Beach, according to the website.
