Florida Panther Killed By Vehicle In Collier County

NAPLES (CBSMiami/AP) — Another Florida panther has died after it was hit by a vehicle.
The remains of the four to five month old female were found Thursday morning on Golden Gate Boulevard East in Collier County, according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
The carcass will be taken to the FWC's lab in Gainesville for necropsy.
This was the 26 Florida panthers to died this year, 17 of which were hit by vehicles.
