Amar'e Stoudemire Took Biggest 'Paycut' of NBA Offseason
Miami Heat addition Amar'e Stoudemire took the biggest paycut of the NBA offseason, according to a list compiled by HoopsRumors.
The six-time NBA All-Star will make nearly $20 million less next season after signing with Miami for the veteran's minimum. In the summer of 2010, he signed a five-year deal worth a jaw-dropping $100 million, but he experienced a decline health-wise (knees) in the middle of that deal.
Among the other notable decreases are Jeremy Lin (-$12.8 million), David West (-$10.5 million), and Andrea Bargnani (-$10.1 million).
