"Do The Right Thing" of Miami recognizes and rewards local young people for their exemplary behavior, and good deeds.

It does so through a unique partnership with the Miami Police Department.

That includes parents, police officers and Miami-Dade County teachers nominate school-age children for "Doing The Right Thing", some of whom are awarded for the choices they make.

"Do The Right Thing" has been around for 25 years, but is in dire need of community support right now.
