JUPITER (CBSMiami) – Four members of the Athletes Without Limits National Paralympic swim team broke the standing long course American record for the 400 meter individual medley relay on Saturday in Jupiter, Florida.

The four members of the relay team are Andres Miyares and Nicholas Perry from Miami and Ian Soules and Jesse Grewe from Orlando.

The group broke the S-14 division Paralympic record for the 400 meter medley relay with an official time of 5:55:38.

The second record they broke, the 400 meter freestyle relay, was with a time of 5:15:53 which eclipsed the old mark by over 17 seconds.

One of the members of the team, Miyares, will be representing the United States in the World Special Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
