Police Ask Locals To Be Aware Of Person Of Interest

MIAMI (CBSMiami) --  Jupiter Police are warning Broward residents to be on the look out for a person of interest in the death investigation of a woman.

Officers believe the man, who may be homeless,  is headed to the Fort Lauderdale area.

He is considered a person of interest in the death of 48-year old Cynthia Knapp who was found dead on July 4th in the Limestone Creek Natural Area located near the 300 block of Central Boulevard in Jupiter.

Investigators believe he may have been the last person to have had contact with her.

Officers describe him as a white male, approximately 40 to 50 years old, about 5'8" tall, with an average build. He was wearing eyeglasses with red frames and has several teeth missing.
