FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) -- A South Florida man is under arrest accused of kidnapping and sexually assaulting a passed out co-worker.

Keith Karlsberg, 46, a personal trainer, a father of two young children and now an accused rapist.

A female co-worker alleges, while she was drunk and passed out, he got her into his car, took her to a hotel and raped her.  Investigators said when other friends tried to stop him, he got violent.

"At one point, he shoved a female out of the way. She was trying to help. She fell to the ground.  Another point, this defendant allegedly punched a man who was trying to remove the alleged victim from the vehicle, punched him twice in the face," said Broward Judge John Hurley.

According to the police report, Karlsberg said the woman was drunk but interested, even fooling around in the car. He said when they got to the hotel, she willingly had sex with him three times.

Police said hotel surveillance video tells a very different story, that he practically dragged her to the elevator.

"There's allegedly video showing her in a passed out state, being held up by this defendant as they were going to the hotel room," said Judge Hurley.

His family is not talking.  Karlsberg's attorney  said the video does not accurately tell the story.

Despite police saying they have strong evidence, Karlsberg attorney says it's not true.

"The video evidence that the state has allegedly, in this case we believe, is a mischaracterization of the facts, that will be born out as the case progresses," said Karlsberg's Attorney Alex Strassman. " The allegations of people trying to get her out the vehicle and him punching..also a mischaracterization of the facts."

This is not the first time he's in trouble. In court on Friday, CBS4's Ted Scouten learned his record includes arrests for burglary, grand theft auto, aggravated assault, battery, breaking and entering and embezzlement.
