Pembroke Pines PD Searching For Gas Station Bandit

PEMBROKE PINES (CBSMiami)-- Pembroke Pines Police are searching for a person they said robbed a gas station early Tuesday morning.

Officers said an armed man walked into a BP Gas Station, 10070 Pines Blvd., around 5 a.m. The robber was wearing a black cover on his head and a yellow bandanna to cover his face.

Surveillance cameras rolled as he ran up to the counter and pointed a gun at the clerk who told police the robber demanded cash.

In the video, you can see the robber banging his hand on the counter and waving the gun in the direction of the clerk.

Within minutes, the bandit was able to get away with an unknown amount of cash.
