MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- After searching nonstop for day and a half, crews ceased their search for a missing Olympic sailor.

At sundown Saturday, the U.S. Coast Guard and Florida Fish and Wildlife (FWC) officials called off the search for 30-year old Trevor Moore whose boat was found abandoned off Dinner Key Marina.

Moore was last seen Thursday afternoon. Surveillance video showed him leaving the U.S. Sailing Center in a 15-foot inflatable power boat.

Around 5 p.m. the same day, the boat was found tangled in mooring lines by a sailboat, according to FWC officials.

Investigators found personal belongings on the boat including a life jacket and a GPS.

The GPS showed the boat had reduced speed by Soldier Key, south of Stiltsville, and zig-zagged back to where it came from. It's believed that Moore was off the boat at that time.

Moore's fiance, Libby Patton, said she intended to stay out on the water looking for him for as long as it takes.

"I pray that people will do what they can and pray that we will find him," said Patton.

Moore was a member of the Olympic team sailing team in 2012. His fiance said Moore has lots of knowledge of the water and can navigate very well.
