MIAMI (CBSMiami) – It's been reported over the past week that the Miami Heat are planning on offering guard Goran Dragic a five-year contract worth around $80 million.

That is far less than a maximum deal, which many expected Dragic to receive.

A new report on Thursday says that the Dragic camp is expecting the offer from Miami to be between $90 million and $100 million.

The same report says that both the Heat and the Dragic camp remain optimistic that a deal between the two sides will happen.

The most that another team could offer Dragic would be $81 million over four years.  Only the Heat can offer him a five-year deal.

Considering that Dragic's camp is expecting an offer from the Heat to be less than a max deal, and that both sides are still hopeful a deal will get done, it seems likely that the two sides will come to an agreement.
