PLANTATION (CBSMiami) --  A South Florida man is in trouble with the law, accused of impersonating those who enforce it.

Jeams Sebea, 28, allegedly tried to get into Plantation General Hospital while impersonating a police detective on Thursday.

Plantation Police said he had a badge around his neck and was wearing a gun while dressed in plain clothes.

He allegedly told security he was trying to visit his wife.

When the security guard asked him what agency he worked for, Sebea allegedly told him it was none of his business.  That's when the security officer asked for his badge which the security guard said didn't look right.

Sebea  allegedly walked out but came back later and dealt with someone else who let him into the hospital.

Once they realized he had gotten through, the security guard called police and Sebea was arrested.

Sebea bonded out on Friday. He is now facing charges for impersonating a police officer, carrying a weapon openly and resisting officers without violence.
