MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Even though the Miami Heat didn't make it to the postseason, Dwyane Wade is still in the playoffs.

The NBA champion hosted a "reading playoffs" event on Saturday at Miami Country Day School.

The purpose of this event was to inspire South Florida children to read.

For the last six months, 100 students from Broward and Miami-Dade counties have read assigned books.

Today the students participated in four rounds of competition.

The students were selected by the Wade's World Foundation and ten participating organizations.

During a question-and-answer session with the youths, Wade revealed some big news. He is taking an upcoming four-day class at Harvard on the business of sports media and entertainment.
