Dawson: Need Some Ws in Wake of Jose Fernandez's Return
Considering Marlins ace Jose Fernandez appears to be a few weeks away from returning to the lineup as he recovers from Tommy John surgery, it figures to give the team a much needed energy boost.
"That's what he brings first and foremost outside of what he's going to give you on the mound every fifth day," Hall of Famer Andre Dawson said on the Marc Hochman Show with Zach Krantz. "We just need to play some baseball and put some Ws up on the board so when he does return he won't miss a beat."
