SUNRISE (CBSMIAMI) -- A South Florida substitute teacher is under arrest, accused of having sex with several underage girls.

Sunrise Police arrested 25-year old Carlos Rojas Paz  on Thursday.

He's a substitute teacher and football coach at Boyd Anderson High School  in Lauderdale Lakes.

Students are stunned.  Police say he admitted having a nearly year-long relationship with a 16-year old student from the school.  Investigators said he also told them he had sex with two other young girls, sexted a 14-year old. He reportedly said he could not control his sexual behavior.

"Just kind of weirded out because I thought he was better than that," said student Sandy Ledoux.

In court on Friday, Rojas Paz buried his face in his hands after learning his bond was set at $700,000.

"It does appear that in your position as a substitute teacher and perhaps a football coach, you have allegedly preyed on young women," said Broward Circuit Court Judge John Jay Hurley. "Sir, the court is concerned about the safety of the community, young girls in the community.  That's based on your own statement where there are more alleged victims in the community, underage girls where you allegedly engaged in sexual activity with them."

School officials said his work as an athletic trainer was a partnership from Broward Health.  Students say he worked with girls on the track team and flag football.

Jalean McNeish said the allegations bother her.

"I don't need no old man touching me," said student Jalean McNeish. "He wanted me to be his little helper and stuff, but that was just for four hours for community service."

Roja's roommate is not talking.  Investigators said Rojas told police he'd bring the student to his apartment for sexual romps. Police are concerned there could be more victims out there.

"We have determined that there are  additional victims and we have concerns that there may be even more that have not been identified yet," said  Sunrise Police Officer Cindi McCue.

He is facing seven charges of sexual assault by a custodian/sexual battery of a victim under 18 years of age.
