Miami Hurricanes O/U for 2015 Season: 5.5 Wins

wqam

With a chunk of elite talent scraped off the top of a Hurricanes roster that went 6-7 last season it's no surprise to see Vegas project struggles this season.

But to project this level of gloom and doom -- 5-6 wins -- after five players were plucked in the first three rounds of the NFL Draft this has to be somewhat defeating for Canes fans as they yearn for a return to college football glory.

Offshore sportsbook 5Dimes puts the Canes' 2015 over/under at 5.5 wins. The payout, as you can see below, is slightly less lucrative on the over, but that doesn't erase the fact Vegas appears to be projecting misery regardless according to Canes standards.

They put EIGHT teams ahead of Miami within the ACC alone. If the U is going to improve upon one of the worst seasons in school history, it's going to be against the grain in Vegas.
