Search Crews Rescue Missing Fort Lauderdale Boater

FT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) – Search teams have found a man who went missing while boating in Fort Lauderdale on Sunday.

The man fell off a 19-foot boat that broke down on a canal near 15th Street Fisheries in Fort Lauderdale.

Several people on the boat tried pulling the boat to land and that's when the man somehow went overboard.

A team of five divers searched for him for about thirty minutes.

The man was transported to Broward Hospital where he is now in critical condition.
