MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Culinary Brands Inc. has issued a recall for certain pork products due to misbranding and undeclared allergens.
The company is recalling 4,038 pounds of pork products that were mistakenly mislabeled and may have the wrong product inside.
Those who bought their pork chile verde product produced on March 30th and April 2nd, may find it's actually a mushroom risotto that contains wheat, a known allergen which is not declared on the product label.
The "Simply Balanced Pork Chile Verde" bearing lot #A5089G2 is under recall.
The company said the firm discovered the issue after a customer complained a package contained the wrong product.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) and the company said they have not received reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.
