MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- A man is in the hospital Tuesday night after he was shot outside a Miami-Dade market and it was all caught on camera.

Miami-Dade Police are now searching for the culprit.

Officers said the victim was standing outside the Yellow Meat Market located at NW 79th Street and  NW 10th Avenue.

Surveillance video shows the gunman in red shorts and a white top firing his gun, injuring the victim.

Cameron  Muhammed said he was  there around 3 p.m. when the man fired the gun.

Witnesses said the victim was speaking after getting shot, asking for help and for someone to call his wife as he was on the ground bleeding.

"He kind of ducked  down when he got shot and ran towards the outside," said Muhammed.

The gunman got away in a green Volvo waiting on NW 10th Avenue.

"Just saw the guy running and then saw a car that took off," said Muhammed.

Some people said the victim was trying to break up an argument. Others said it's unclear what happened that caused the man to fire.

Crews rushed the man to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital. No word yet on his condition.

Anyone with information in the case is urged to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at (305) 471-TIPS. You may be eligible for a $1,000 reward.
