MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Miami Police are searching for a brazen pair of robbers who stole from a South Florida market in the early morning hours.

On Tuesday, officers released photos of the men they say did it, hoping someone will recognize them.

Surveillance cameras rolled  on May 3rd as the two men approached the store clerk at Market 54, 6355 Northwest 7 Avenue, just before 6:30 a.m.

The two, according to police, had been pretending to be customers.

Once they got close enough, one of them brandished a handgun and demanded money from inside the cash register.

The clerk, fearing for his life, complied.

That's when the second robber jumped over the counter, pushed the clerk out of the way, rummaged through a drawer and pulled out a handgun from it.

He handed the Glock to his accomplice before the two men got away.

They were last seen getting away with the cash and the stolen gun heading West on NW 65th Street.

Anyone with information in the case is urged to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at (305) 471-TIPS.
