PALM HARBOR, Fla. (CBSMiami/AP) — A 21-year-old waitress is being accused of altering customers bills to increase tips.

Victoria Bachmann changed the tip amount on 134 bills for a total of $1,074 at the Ozona Blue Grilling Company from March 11 to April 10, according to Pinellas County Sheriff's Office. She was arrested on grand theft charges May 5. The restaurant is in the Tampa Bay area.

An arrest affidavit says Bachmann entered a higher tip amount into the computer when customers paid with credit cards. Her managers then paid her in cash for the tips left on credit cards.

The scheme came to light after the restaurant requested repayment from credit card companies and the charges were found to be fraudulent.

Bachmann was released on a $2,000 bond. A phone number for Bachmann wasn't available.
