Dates Set For Pope's Visit To Cuba

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - The Cuban Conference of Catholic Bishops has announced that Pope Francis will visit the island nation in the fall.
The pope will arrive in Havana on Saturday, September 19th.
During his stay he will visit the city of Holguin, the Shrine of the Virgin of El Cobre outside Santiago and the city of Santiago.
The pope will leave Cuba on Tuesday, September 22nd and head straight to the U.S.
Last Sunday, Raul Castro met with Pope Francis at the Vatican. The pope has encouraged the U.S. and Cuba to open up diplomatic relations and Castro reportedly praised the pope for doing so.
