Police Release Identities In Deadly Pines Crash

PEMBROKE PINES (CBSMiami) -- Authorities have released the identities of two people involved in deadly crash in Pembroke Pines.

Pembroke Pines Police said Edner Rouzard, 28, and Dougera Illarion, 36, were in the car when they slammed into several trees on Friday.

Rouzard died at the scene. Illarion was airlifted to Memorial Regional Hospital with non life threatening injuries.

Officers said the crash happened just before 5 p.m. near the 1500 Block of South Hiatus Road.

The vehicle involved in the crash was a 2014 White Ford Mustang convertible.

It is unclear what caused the crash. No charges have been filed.
