Volin Questions Patriots' Motive in Deflategate
Tom Brady continues to take a beating, especially for a quarterback coming off a Super Bowl victory.
The Boston Globe's Ben Volin joined the Joe Rose Show to discuss the pummeling of New England's most iconic active athlete over the latest implications of Deflategate with the Ted Wells' report released earlier in the week.
"Every time you bring up Tom Brady's name now people are going to associate him with cheating whether he likes it or not and whether it's fair or not, that's what public perception will be," Volin said on 560 WQAM.
"This is one of things it's just like why, why did they bring this on themselves? They didn't have to do this sort of cheating or skirting of the rules. They were a really good team all around. They were gonna beat the pants off the Colts. Why would they skirt so dangerously with the rules again after Spy Gate?"
