Marvez: 'I Now Put Asterisks' in T*m Br*dy

Interviews-wqam

Tom Brady will likely still go down as an NFL legend, one of the best quarterbacks to ever toss a football, but is his legacy tarnished after the latest investigation over intentionally deflating footballs below the league requirement?

Fox Sports' Alex Marvez still thinks Brady is the best quarterback of all time but thinks this definitely stains his legacy, something he talked about at length on the Marc Hochman Show with Zach Krantz.

"Tom Brady, did you really need to use a deflated football to beat the Colts?" Marvez said. "This is gonna mark him the rest of his career. I now put asterisks where the 'o' and the 'a' are."

Between Spygate and Deflategate, this appears to be strike two -- that we know of -- connecting the Belichick/Brady Era to cheating.

"Now it's a double whammy against this organization," Marvez said. "It's unfortunate but Brady did this to himself, especially the way he was denying this back in January -- didn't know anything about it."

Marvez understands there hasn't been anything conclusive in the Deflategate investigation, but thinks "all signs point to Patriots shenanigans" and the defending Super Bowl-champion Pats will probably be without their Hall-of-Fame quarterback for at least a game or two with a potential suspension on deck.
