Dolphins' Dion Jordan Suspended For Entire 2015 Season

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Miami Dolphins defensive end Dion Jordan has been suspended for the entire 2015 NFL season after a positive substance-abuse test.
Jordan, the 3rd overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, was issued a 4-game suspension in 2014 for violating the NFL's substance-abuse policy.
That four game ban turned into six games in September of 2014 after a second violation.
Jordan will not appeal the suspension, which stemmed from a diluted sample.
Despite being one of the highest draft picks in Dolphins history, Jordan has had little impact during his time in the NFL.
He's played in 26 regular season games and has 39 tackles and three sacks to his name.

There had been talk of a possible trade between Miami and Philadelphia for Jordan, but that will surely be a thing of the past after this suspension. Eagles head coach Chip Kelly coached Jordan at the University of Oregon so there had been some interest on his part.
The Dolphins have had trouble finding a place for Jordan on defense, moving him between linebacker and defensive end.
Now, the 25-year-old's NFL career is in jeopardy as he's had little impact on the playing field and now has become a 3-time violator of the league's policy on substance abuse.
