New Jurassic World Global Trailer Will Rock Your World

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A new trailer for Jurassic World was released Monday and it'll have you sitting on the edge of your seat. It's not only exciting but reveals a few more details about the highly anticipated film.

The film takes place in the future, past the disasters that went down in the first three films, to a time when there's a fully operational live dinosaur theme park. Everything seems to be going well, until it doesn't. That's because someone in upper management decided that bringing back dinosaurs back from the dead wasn't enough. Now they've genetically modified a new, even bigger and smarter dinosaur: The Indominus Rex.

It was a big mistake, because as this trailer reveals, the new creature is a genius killing machine, laying waste to humans and dinosaurs with reckless abandon.

Things get worse when the Indominus Rex begins organizing other dinosaurs into a nightmare giant reptile militia, which could sink the island into an ocean of blood — and only Chris Pratt, as the cocky dino-whisperer Owen Grady, can save them.

Jurassic World will open on June 12.
