MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The Fillmore in Miami Beach is hosting what could be called the new odd couple; hard-hitting national TV journalist Anderson Cooper and the host of a booze-fueled talk show Andy Cohen.
On Saturday, Cooper and Cohen will unite for an unforgettable night of conversation called "AC 2 Deep Talk and Shallow Tales."
CBS4's Lisa Petrillo chatted up with the famed Bravo host Andy Cohen at the Delano in South Beach ahead of the show.
"Our goal is to have fun," Andy said. "I like to bring the silly side out of Anderson which exists. He loves pop culture and he has great stories and I have great stories."

The two are longtime friends who were originally set up on a date that never happened.
"He and I were just talking and he said I knew at the end of the call I was never gonna go out with you and I said, really? I ended the call thinking we were gonna go out," Cohen said, laughing.
The show commences with the two men interviewing each other, and then it gets interactive as the audience begins to chime in.
"It gets very name-droppy," said Cohen.
"He can talk about Netanyahu and you can talk about who?" Petrillo asked, "Nene Leaks," said Cohen. "Yes. Nene Leakes and Netanyahu—that's us exactly," said Cohen.
Cohen said even he was surprised how open and fun the usually-serious newsman is during the show.
"We've done one date so far and we have many others to do. I'm always amazed when we get off stage how much he goes there .It's surprising," Cohen said.
