MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- The 15-year old son of the Canadian Consul General is under arrest for his alleged involvement in a drug deal that ended in gunfire.

According to our news partners the Miami Herald, gunfire claimed the life of his 17-year old brother, Jean Wabafiyebazu and a suspected drug dealer, Joshua Wright.

Police said 15-year old Marc Wabafiyebazu and his brother Jean were armed and planned to rob drug dealers on Monday at a home just East of Coral Gables.

That's when gunfire broke out, killing the two men and injuring a third person, Anthony Rodriguez.

On Monday afternoon, police arrested Marc for felony murder since, under Florida Law, anyone who participates in a violent felony that turns deadly can face a murder charge.

Rodriguez is also facing charges of felony murder and marijuana possession with intent to sell.

Marc and his brother are the sons of Roxanne Dubé who recently took the job as consul general in Miami.

The Canadian government and U.S. State Department officials are working with police in the investigation.
