Plantation Strip Mall Temporarily Evacuated

PLANTATION (CBSMiami) -- Fire crews temporarily evacuated a Plantation strip mall Saturday around noon.
The Fountains located at 801 S University Drive was reopened shortly before 1:00 p.m. Three businesses remain closed including Five Guys Burgers and Fries, The Cheese Course, and Gyroville.
Plantation Fire officials said the mall was evacuated due to the strong odor of propane that seemed to be coming from one store.
Officials said they found the source. It was a gas leak. No injuries were reported.
