Five Middle School Students Arrested And Suspended

ALLAPATTAH (CBSMiami) – Five students at Allapattah Middle School are facing charges Monday.
According to Miami-Dade Schools, two teenage students recently engaged in inappropriate consensual activity at the school. A student, who allegedly witnessed the act, told school officials about seeing two students having sex on campus.
The student, after reporting the activity, was physically injured by five students.
"Our school district has zero tolerance for inappropriate behavior of any kind and we commend the student who came forward to report the incident," said Miami-Dade Schools Monday.
The five students who were suspended are charged with attempted aggravated battery and may be expelled.
The investigation is ongoing.
