MIAMI SHORES (CBSMiami)-- New surveillance tape shows some frightening moments inside a Pizza Hut restaurant last Thursday night in Miami Shores as two gunmen threaten the lives of a shift manager and five employees and pistol whip one of them.

The surveillance tape shows a gunman pulling one terrified female employee by the hair and another employee drops to the floor as the criminals approach. One chilling image shows a gunman holding his weapon to the back of the
head of the shift manager.

It happened at 8900 Biscayne Boulevard.

"The guy went with a gun and said, 'everybody on the floor,'" Andres Franco told CBS 4's Lauren Pastrana. "One was in front with the cashier taking the money.. the other in the back with the manager to open the safe."

Franco moonlights as a Pizza Hut delivery man to make some extra cash.

He says he'd only been working there for three weeks when the crime took place.

"I never been through that before," he said. "They were asking me for the money in my wallet. I said I don't have no wallet."

A police report said the suspects asked for another employee's belongings. She gave them her leather purse but they left it behind. They did take her phone but dropped it on the floor before they took off.

According to a police report, the suspects forced the five employees from the kitchen into a small supply room. One employee's purse was taken but she recovered it after the suspects dropped it. Another employee had a wallet stolen that
contained a debit card, which he cancelled immediately before any transaction could be made.

One employee was struck in the cheek with the butt of a black gun.

The gunmen demanded that the female employee to open the safe underneath the counter. When she entered the code, she advised them there was a delay of 15 minutes.

"They were like so angry. I thought they were about to shoot her. But thank god nothing happened," Franco said.

The gunmen fled with just $43 from the cash register.

Miami Shores Police Chief Kevin Lystad told CBS4's Peter D'Oench that he is alarmed by the images captured during the course of three minutes around 8:18 p.m. on February 26th when the restaurant was robbed.

"I'm concerned for the employees who were emotionally scarred by this experience and we are concerned that they are out there and feel they can do it again," said Lystad.

"I think the video is very telling," he said. "We feel there may be people out there who know who they are and we want them to give us a call or call Crime Stoppers. Both of these men had guns and anytime you have guns like this, anything can happen."

Franco hasn't been back to his delivery job yet.

He doesn't plan to quit, but says he'll feel better once an arrest is made.

"I wish they caught them and keep them in jail and never come out. Those people are dangerous on the street," Franco said.

Police say the gunmen left behind a duffel bag with duct tape in it. They reportedly tried to tape up some of the employees. Detectives will try to determine if those items have any fingerprints or DNA evidence on them.

Anyone who can help Miami Shores Police should call them or Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at (305) 471-TIPS (8477).
