Police: Man Fatally Stabs Girlfriend In Pompano Beach

POMPANO BEACH (CBSMiami) – A woman in her forties is dead after police said she was stabbed multiple times by her boyfriend.
Broward Sheriff's Deputies were called to 1220 S. Cypress Road regarding a stabbing.
Police said a woman came out of her home, she was bleeding and collapsed in the street. She was stabbed numerous times, according to police.
The woman was transported to North Broward Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The suspect, who police said is the victim's boyfriend, was taken into custody. He will be charged with murder.
Neighbors said the couple was often at odds but this type of violence is unusual for the neighborhood.
